Four regions, four different rulebooks. We quote to the rulebook.
Our export business runs through distributors in Africa, the Middle East, South America, Southeast Asia and Central Asia. Each market buys a different tier, needs a different certificate and wants a different label language — the product is the easy part.
What each region actually buys
Same factory, different answer per region. These are the patterns we see from the orders, not from a brochure.
West & East Africa
Highest volume growth, most price-sensitive, two-tier demand: sachet-level economy packs for kiosks and mid-tier packs for supermarkets. Nigeria needs NAFDAC registration and a trademark; SONCAP covers shipments, PVoC in Kenya.
NAFDAC · SONCAP · PVoC · English / French labels
Middle East & Gulf
Quality-led rather than price-led, with strong preference for pant types and premium overnight tiers. SABER registration via the importer; G-Mark where applicable. Arabic labelling and, in some markets, halal-material declarations.
SABER · G-Mark · Arabic labels · Pant-type focus
Latin America
Two markets in one: Mexico and Chile clear relatively smoothly, while Brazil carries high composite tax and its own health registration route. Spanish packaging is standard; Portuguese for Brazil. Adult care grows faster than baby care in the south.
Spanish / Portuguese · Importer registration (BR) · Adult care growth
Southeast Asia & Central Asia
Some of our longest-running relationships sit here — a sanitary pad brand in Southeast Asia and a baby-pants distributor in Central Asia. Volumes start small and grow by reorder; mixed containers and ready stock do most of the work.
Mixed containers · Ready stock · Importer registration

Planning aid only. Verify current requirements with your customs broker — schemes change without notice.
Print-ready in your market’s language
A label that fails a language requirement stops a container as effectively as a wrong certificate. We set artwork in:
| English | West and East Africa, Gulf, South Asia |
| French | Francophone West and Central Africa |
| Arabic | Gulf, Levant, North Africa — right-to-left layout handled |
| Spanish / Portuguese | Latin America, Brazil |
| Russian | CIS markets |
Bilingual layouts (e.g. English + Arabic) are standard for Gulf shipments. Send us the regulatory wording your importer requires and we will place it; the legal content stays your responsibility.
Who is responsible for label legality?
The importer of record, not the factory. We print what you approve and we flag obvious conflicts, but registration wording in your country must come from your registration agent. Say so plainly to buyers — it signals experience rather than avoidance.
Tell us your market and we will tell you the route
